DESCRIPTION
High-impact graphics created by Giovanni Pintori in 1967 celebrate in a minimal and harmonious way the features of the unmistakable design of the Programma 101, born from the hand of Mario Bellini.
Considered the world’s first desktop computer, the Programma 101 was conceived at Olivetti by Pier Giorgio Perotto and his group of collaborators and presented in 1965 in the United States. Here, it amazed the audience and also won over NASA, which used it to perform the orbital calculations that led the Apollo 11 mission to the moon in 1969.
Visual narrative of one of the most avant-garde products in the history of world technology, Pintori’s poster is finally available again in a high-quality reprint produced in 2022 on the occasion of the event “P101: The machine that changed the relationship between man and data”.
