From story to story, you find yourself immersed in a world turned upside down, in an enigmatic and surreal city made immortal by the author&#8217;s desecrating vision. The collection was compiled after Gogol&#8217;s death, combining three short stories previously published in the collection Arabesques (1835) and two immediately following.<br \/>\nThe illustrations are by Milton Glaser, one of the leading graphic designers of the contemporary age, who also collaborated with Olivetti on several famous posters. <\/p>\n<p>Author: Nikolaj V.
