Villa Casana Park
Via Miniere, 31 – Ivrea
The renowned music event celebrating jazz, music, dance, photography, and literature reaches its 45th edition. The lineup, curated by Ivrea Jazz Club and Music Studio, brings to Ivrea and the Aosta Valley some of the most important artists on the international jazz scene, while keeping a special focus on one of the Festival’s defining features compared to other major events in Italy: a commitment to avant-garde research and experimentation.
This year’s theme is Greek Theatres and Yoruba Villages, Cross-Cultural Influences. Music, dance, photography, painting, and literature will highlight the theme of cultural fusion—one of the Festival’s core missions since its inception.
The Olivetti Historical Archive Association is taking part in the Festival by hosting the opening event, which features the concert Woland, Dejlige Svaner, with Eloisa Manera on violin, Federica Michisanti on double bass, Massimo Barbiero on drums and percussion. Special guest: Alberto Mandarini on trumpet and flugelhorn. Roberta Tirassa will perform dance.
