The poster is part of the large and fascinating advertising campaign for the Divisumma 18 portable calculator designed by Egidio Bonfante. “There was one goal that that campaign aimed to achieve, and that was to counteract the competition that often presented itself with a certain confusion of graphics and copy. The Divisumma 18 had to present itself as comfortable and natural for the hand, it had to enhance the act of writing, it had to enhance some essential aspects: quality, editing, solidity, design, silence, speed. For the Divisumma 18, in addition to the elegance of the design, I took care to highlight its portable size.”
