Confindustria Canavese, with the Tourism, Culture, and Sport Group, and Federturismo Confindustria organize the second edition of the International Conference on Industrial Tourism scheduled for Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2 The initiative involves the collaboration of Confindustria Piemonte, Unione Industriali di Torino, and the Olivetti Historical Archive Association, as well as the patronage of numerous public and private entities
Following the significant success of the first edition in December 2022, Ivrea and Canavese return to the forefront of national debate and the development of industrial tourism and corporate social responsibility.
Industrial tourism is, in fact, a growing sector of tourism activities, both abroad and in Italy, that values, promotes, and makes places of work and production available to visitors, both those still in use and those transformed.
Ivrea, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the “Industrial City of the 20th Century” since July 2018, is now, along with the entire Canavese region, also one of the regional areas involved in “Turin, Capital of Corporate Culture 2024,” a recognition recently awarded by Confindustria. This designation will feature a rich program of events throughout the coming year.

In addition to the conference sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, throughout the weekend of December 1-3, it will be possible to visit the UNESCO site of Ivrea, its museums, and related places, as well as other corporate museums and sites of interest in Canavese, Turin, and other provinces in Piedmont.
The Olivetti Historical Archive Association offers the following guided tours of the permanent exhibition “Olivetti #StoriaDiInnovazione”
- Friday, December 1, at 10:30 AM – without reservation (cost: €7.00 per person)
- Saturday, December 2, at 2:30 PM – by reservation (cost: €10.00 per person)
- Sunday, December 3, at 10:30 AM – by reservation (cost: €10.00 per person)
